1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using FirmsLedger ("the Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Site.
2. Description of Service
FirmsLedger is a directory that helps buyers discover and compare US-based manufacturers and suppliers. Company listings, ratings, and reviews are provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any listing, and we are not a party to any transaction between a buyer and a listed company.
3. Company Listings and Reviews
Companies may submit information to be listed on the Site. Reviews, where present, are intended to reflect genuine customer experiences. We reserve the right to remove any listing or review that we determine, in our sole discretion, to be fraudulent, abusive, or in violation of these terms.
4. User Conduct
You agree not to misuse the Site, including by submitting false information, scraping or harvesting data without permission, attempting to manipulate rankings or reviews, or using the Site for any unlawful purpose.
5. Requests for Quote (RFQs)
Buyers can post requests for quote for free. Buyers are responsible for the accuracy of their requests, and companies are responsible for the quotes they send. FirmsLedger does not verify requests or quotes and is not a party to any agreement between a buyer and a company. When a buyer awards a request, the buyer's name and email are shared with the awarded company so they can complete the deal.
6. Premium Subscriptions
Premium is an optional paid plan for a claimed company listing. It gives access to full RFQ details and quoting; it does not change where a company appears in rankings. Premium is billed monthly in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, and renews automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page in your dashboard; Premium then stays active until the end of the period already paid. If something isn't right, email support@firmsledger.com and we'll look at refund requests individually. We will give at least 30 days' notice by email before changing the price. We may end Premium without refund if a listing is used to send spam or false quotes.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including the FirmsLedger name, logo, and design, is the property of FirmsLedger or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Company names, logos, and trademarks displayed in listings remain the property of their respective owners.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any company listed meets any particular standard of quality.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FirmsLedger shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or any transaction with a company discovered through the Site.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
