About Woodwork NJ
Woodwork NJ operates from Newark, New Jersey, where founder Artur Moreira established a custom wood shop focused on architectural millwork and historical duplication. The company serves clients across residential, commercial, and religious projects, managing design, production, and installation under one roof. The shop produces wine cellars, bars, custom kitchens, pergolas, and hand-carved details, with a specialty in replicating historical windows, doors, and muntin profiles for period properties. Craftsmen combine traditional joinery with modern tooling to handle projects ranging from single sash replacements to large-scale commercial millwork packages. Customers include homeowners, architects, and contractors working on religious buildings, commercial spaces, and historic restorations. Past projects span Essex Fells, Cranford, and other New Jersey locations, with the team noting experience on everything from library interiors to church window replication. Moreira emphasizes a “one-stop” approach that keeps design intent intact through fabrication and fitting, and the firm highlights its ability to match century-old sticking profiles, glass, and hardware as a core differentiator.
