About MetalArc, LLC
MetalArc, LLC operates from Englewood, Colorado, in the Denver metropolitan area. The company was founded in 2020 by David Dufficy La Rosa, a fourth‑generation metalworker whose great‑grandfather began as a blacksmith in rural Ireland before emigrating to the United States and establishing a family welding legacy in Denver. The La Rosa family’s prior business, Central Denver Ironworks, contributed to landmark projects across the city for 45 years before closing in 2021. MetalArc continues that heritage as a family‑owned shop. The shop provides architectural metalwork, ornamental design, custom fabrication, and certified welding. Services span design and rendering, railings and gates, stairs and platforms, shelter systems, decorative metals, precision laser cutting, and a range of surface finishes including powder coating, anodizing, hot‑dip galvanizing, and specialty brush finishes. The team of seven — including fabricators, a production manager, and design staff — works with mild carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, brass, Cor‑ten steel, copper, and exotic alloys. In‑house and mobile welding covers SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW processes, with AWS D1.1, D1.2, and D1.6 certification available. MetalArc serves residential homeowners, commercial contractors, and public‑sector clients. Past work referenced by the company includes RTD transit shelters, pedestrian bridges, railings at Coors Field and Park Meadows Mall, art installations at Denver International Airport, the Speer Boulevard bridge over the Platte River, and park shelters across Colorado and more than a dozen other states. Automotive custom work such as rock sliders and powder‑coated components is also noted. The company emphasizes a customer‑first approach built on transparent communication, an online project‑tracking portal, and a commitment to high‑end craftsmanship over cost‑cutting. Its stated mission is to deliver unparalleled craftsmanship in custom metal fabrication while providing an exceptional client experience defined by communication, transparency, and attention to detail.
