About Maddux Woodworks
The business began in a two-car garage equipped with only a jigsaw and a pair of sawhorses, where they started turning raw lumber into custom furniture pieces. The company produces custom, handmade furniture and design pieces built to each customer’s specifications. Working from a small shop, the duo handles every step—breaking down lumber, joinery, sanding, finishing with stain or paint, and final assembly—without automated production lines. Maddux Woodworks serves residential and commercial clients seeking one-of-a-kind furniture for homes or businesses. The website invites inquiries from homeowners and business owners alike, though no specific industry verticals or named accounts are disclosed. The founders emphasize heirloom-quality craftsmanship over speed, stating their mission is to create furniture “made to last and meant to be lived with.” They differentiate by doing “things the right way—not the fastest way,” standing behind the durability of every piece and focusing on the details that make each item unique.
