About Hiddenbed of Oregon LLC
Hiddenbed of Oregon LLC is a family-owned manufacturer of space-saving furniture based in Brooks, Oregon. The company was founded in 2011 by Keith and Jo Cobb after they needed a combined bed and desk for their own living space. Keith, a longtime craftsman with a construction business, built the first Hiddenbed using a purchased mechanism, and the couple soon turned the solution into a sideline venture that grew into a full-time operation. All products are constructed from solid hardwood panels using CNC machining, with customizable options for sizes, finishes, hardware, side cabinets, lighting, and mattresses. A showroom and production facility off I-5 in Brooks allows customers to view and test products while supporting in-house manufacturing. Hiddenbed of Oregon serves residential customers throughout the Pacific Northwest, including homeowners, apartment dwellers, and developers of accessory dwelling units (ADUs) and studio apartments. Its beds are used in guest rooms, home offices, craft rooms, and exercise rooms. Free delivery and installation are provided within a 50-mile radius of Brooks, covering the Portland metro area and surrounding communities. The business was born from a personal need for adaptable living space, and the founders emphasize a hands-on, family-run approach. After a 2021 fire destroyed their original facility, they rebuilt with a focus on quality control, investing in a CNC machine to restore their product line. In 2023 the company received the Better Business Bureau Torch Award for ethics in the small business category in Oregon.
